LEXINGTON, NE- The Dawson County Raceway is back in action this Sunday with Back To School Night provided by Platte Valley Auto Mart and Heartland Chevrolet.
The first 400 kids entering the grand stands will receive free backpacks compliments of Kevin Osborn Trucking, Platte Valley Auto Mart, Downey Drilling, Dynamic T's, Arvada Excavation and O'Hanlon Seed. The First 100 fans to enter the main grandstand will also receive a free hot dog and coke product compliments of Mid-Nebraska Garage Doors and the Dawson County Cattlemen's Association. Pit pass giveaways will be provided by Kelly's of Elm Creek along with the big prize wheel plus the Kids Candy Toss sponsored by Platte Valley Excavating of Lexington, Nebraska. Dynamic T's will hold a kids t-shirt giveaway and Platte Valley Auto Mart will have displays behind the grandstands.
Gates are set to open at 3:00 p.m. with the green flag flying at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Adults are $12 while kids 6 to 12 are $5, 5 and Under are free. All five IMCA classes are running including Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sport Modifieds, Sport Compacts, and Hobby Stocks. The night is a draw/redraw night for drivers.
